You have worked hard for everything you have and your motor home is more than a status symbol; it is a link to the freedom of getting away from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life. It is a magnificent way to see the countryside and experience segments of American life that are missed by the average tourist. Sometimes, just the knowledge that your motor home is there waiting for you to take time off for a few days and get away is a stress reducer.

You are doubly blessed if you have room on your property to store your motor home. Your RV is always there at a moments notice to take you on a carefree trip with all of the comforts of home. If you keep your RV sheltered from the elements, dust, and debris, it is easier to take off quickly when the opportunity presents itself. So, does your motor home deserve a house of its own? Most likely, the answer is a resounding yes!

For very little money, you could shelter it with one of those vinyl tarps that are strapped to metal pipes. Unfortunately, they also look cheap and your neighbors would not be happy. On the other hand, you could have a custom-built garage constructed for your motor home that matches the style of your home and neighborhood for a surprisingly reasonable sum.

Look for a company that has experience in building sheds and garages in a variety of styles in order to complement your architecture. Whether it is stucco with a tile roof or lap siding with shingle roof, traditional or Tudor design, a custom-built garage can be made to your specifications. A quality custom-built garage will blend into the surroundings, look fantastic, and last for many years.

The livery RV garage is becoming more and more popular. These are tall in the center with shorter side wings on one or both sides. They can be left open or closed off to create extra space for an entirely different function, such as a workshop, home office, or even a guesthouse. This architectural style blends in very well in communities with an equestrian influence.

Whatever design you select, choosing the company that will build the garage is the most crucial decision of all. Select a company that has experience, is dedicated to customer service, and constructs your building at the site instead of assembling it from prefabricated sections made in a factory. A quality company will also offer a warranty, testimonials, pictures of their work, and have a professional staff. Once you find the right company to build a ā€œhouseā€ for your motor home, the rest will be easy.

She went to Quality Sheds, a California pool cabana company, and had them design and build her a custom rv garage for her motor home. The Riverside CA sheds they built matched her house perfectly and was surprisingly affordable, considering it was a custom garage in San Diego.
